Well guys I've got good and bad for ya. The winter blend Diesel Kleen did'nt do it's job. She gelled up on me this morning on the way in to work. Got her fired up once, drove another twenty miles and she was all done.A mile from work no less. Luckily I had a guy willing to drive me around the corner to the nearest diesel repair shop. I got some diesel 911 and that stuff is the man. I put some in the fuel bowl and poured the rest in the tank and after four tries she came to life. Just a word to the wise, all you guys in the cold states, I will never drive around without a bottle of 911 in the toolbox. Just my .02
trike1946, I got the diesel 911 from a fleet repair shop, I don't know who else carries it. The ambient temp around here is -10. Alot of the school buses around here are having trouble. They are thinking it has something to do with the ulsd.
nope haven't used the 911 yet but have been religious about adding DK winter blend to each tank full. when I froze a fuel line last year I had gotten out of the habit of adding DK at each fill up.
Helifixer you don't need to worry about gelling fuel there. unless it gets really cold like below freezing.
