Headlights won't come on

Headlights won't come on

With my lights on automatic the headlights won't come on until I tilt the steering column up and down. Has anyone had this same problem and what was the fix?

The lights go through the hi beam switch. I think there is a connector that can come apart in the column if I remember correctly.

Thanks for the reply. I was thinking that something was coming apart under the dash, but want to get some reader feedback first.
