Yes I am looking forward to only having pain when I hurt myself instead of all the time.

Update

Just an update to say that we will try to get out on the 3rd and return on the 7th. Will take The Ferry to Ketchikan instead of the bush plane. Better chance of getting to the Jet to Anchorage.

Yep I remember looking forward to the few minutes of no pain. Pain meds worked but boy was I out of it. Hope things go well.
