Intake Interchangeability
I also posted this question in the Modular 4.6/5.4 forum.
My question is: Will an intake from a 4.6 bolt up to 5.4? It's looking like I need to replace mine, as it has developed the coolant leak in the crossover in the back. My rig is a '99 and in my poking around for a new intake, I'm only coming up with ones that state they are for the 4.6.

4.6L intakes are too narrow for a 5.4L. The taller deck height spreads the heads farther apart,and the intake must be widened to accomodate this. Therefore,a 4.6L is narrower than a 5.4L intake.
