Front end noise
I have a 2006 F250 4x4 that a local shop just installed 4.56 gears in. The shop was highly recommended by everyone in my area so I am very confident in the job they did. My question is that now I have started to notice a vibration/humming noise coming from the front end on the driver's side when I am turning left at 60 plus mph. At first I thought it was because my manual hubs were locked but it still does it after I unlocked them. The noise started about a week after the gears. There really is only one turn that I take everyday that I can really notice it on. I am leaning towards ball joints. Is there anyway this was caused by the gear install? I can't see how it could be. The truck has 7,800 miles on it. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I would take it back to the shop that installed your gears. IMO its probably related to something they did. They have to take the front end apart to remove the gears, so maybe they didn't get something put back or tightened. If this noise wasn't there before the gears, than I would say with 99% certainty that it was caused by something they did, or didn't do. Good luck
