A friend says my front has been lifted slightly, I say no. It is an 01 F350 diesel 4x4 SRW with 3 leafs in the front packs. He says there should only be two, who's right?
I don't remember my codes of the top of my head, but I know my truck has the springs one before the heaviest set that came OEM. The bottom leaf is close to full length but does have a slightly different arc (a little gap towards the outer two thirds). Haven't measured the truck on a level surface, but appears front is about 3" lower in the front. Truck has the 3 3/4 rear blocks...OEM shocks that look about 90,000 miles old
I had x code front springs on my 01, those come with the snow plow prep. as stated only 2 springs, sounds like you have a add a leaf in the front you can tell by the way the bottom spring is held to the other two, most add a leafs have a metal strap in the front and the back that get bent over the original springs.
No metal straps, and when I measured today on a level surface, the front is exactly 4" lower then the rear. The bottom spring looks factory....The 4" difference is still making me think it's factory...can't belive there would be that much settling in addition to an add-a-leaf...
I have a 02 sd sc 4x4 5.4 with plow prep i believe. the prep makes the front higher than stock so, my rear looks like it sags. What is out there so i can lift the rear about 2 inches
