just wondering where you guys buy your stanydine at probably spelled wrong?ive heard its works good for fuel not gelling.its really cold up here in minnesota!just dont want to take any chances.thanks
I agree with phydeaux and otpracer, I use diesel kleen also. White bottle in winter and grey in the summer. Wal-mart is usually the cheapest around, unless a truck stop gets a bunch and decides to put it on "sale". Good luck !
I also use Diesel Kleen due to availability and price. I get mine from my fuel supplier for about $1.50 to $1.75 cheaper per bottle. Most people don't think of their bulk fuel suppliers for additives, grease, oil, etc. in case quantities. They usually will match or beat most other places prices.
What part of Minnesota? I'm in ND, close to Grand Forks and found an injector shop that sells it for just over $4 a bottle if you buy a case. One bottle treats 60 gallons.
We stock it at very good prices www.dieselperformanceparts.com and Stanadyne is OEM approved by Ford, no other brand is, keeps the dealers happy this way!!
