Exhaust help

has anybody ever had any experience with an exhaust system made by Pinnacle Performance or Jerry Jardine. I found his system on ebay for a good price but dont want to buy a system that is going to be a PITA to get to work. It would be a hell of a deal for $324 after shipping if it is easy to work with.

thanks,
Franklin

I got a jardine kit for my 94. Worked well. Very good down pipe and went together good. The only thing I did'nt like is the look of it exiting behind the rear wheel. But with a little tinkering it worked out.

The over the axle peice was two parts. So I had a exhaust clamp behind/inside the back tire. Just did'nt look quite right to me. So I removed the clamp, welded the joint and put a 5"tip on and all was well.

Itfox, thanks for the help. I can handle working with that kind of problem. but ofcourse my main concern was whether or not the downpipe will work fairly easily and you already answered that for me

The down pipe drop right in. But I already had a 3" already. This went from 3-4".
You will have to bend the pinch seam down to get it in. Here is a good link for instructions.

The only thing I would'nt recommend is the heat wrap. I think it tends to make things rust faster. Many run no sheild and have no trouble.

frnkln2003,

Check the AFE and MBRP systems, the AFE are in the same price range and fit exceptionally well. We stock them all and will be glad to help you on questions, one thing you might not like about the pinnacle is it uses a hollw core muffler that does have some restriction and it sounds louder too. Both MBRP and AFE use a muffler packed with high temp ceramic wool that sounds good under full throttle but doesn't drone.
