Di-Electric Grease

When applying di-electric grease to the plug boots do you just apply it where the boot connects to the COP or all over the boot ?

Just on the metal contacts (the 'spring' and the 2 pins that go into the wireharness).

Just take the tube of grease (the tip) and make a seal over the end of the boot ,so when you push it over the plug it would seal and water or moisture from getting up to the connection between the plug and the spring up inside the boot.Not alot but enough .Then put some on the under side of the boot that seals to the Aluminum head .this helps keep the water from getting in the plug hole.

This how I do it.
