I got my sheilded cable today.

How are you guys running your new shielded cable out of the pcm? I called Jody today and he said I could drill a small hole directly behind the chip and make a straight shot to the dash. or.... Run it like the ribbon cable was installed. Any insight?

I drilled the hole ,works great and the small wires look awful frail to be bending around to much

Sounds like drilling it is! Looks to be a tight fit now with the sheilded version.

I came out the back of the PCM housing then turned up to the dash, if you try to run it like the ribbon cable it gets pretty tight making that bend.

Thanks for the info. Was anyone having problems with the ribbon? I seem to be behind on the subject. Started spring semester at college and been real busy. Will I notice a diff? More questions I forgot to as Jody when i had him on the phone tonight.
