Does anyone know where I can buy two new Ford valve covers with the "Ford" or "Powered by Ford" script? The only ones I can find new have some racing moniker on them, are chrome, or are over $100. What I am looking for is the stock, no frills valve covers that are Ford blue or can be painted Ford blue with the "Ford" script imprinted on them.

You didn't list the engine size you have, so I'm unable to pin down the covers you need.
There are two different types of valve covers for a 302 in 1985..and there is a left and right. The covers are different if you have EFI.
There are four different valve covers for 351W's for 1985...here again emissions play a part...CA or non CA, with or without EFI.
NumberDummy...don't forget about me! From your last post, you seemed you would be able to find the valve covers I have been looking for. I have had no luck locating any to buy.

I know of a junkyard that will have some, but it's in CA.

Just checked an older LMC book(2005 spring edition). They don't show the stock ones, but the do show some chrome ones. That is not to say they dont have them. An lmc catalog is awsome to have around for your truck-they have lots of oem style goodies. Do yourself a favor and get a free catalog for your truck. I have one for my 83, my bronco, and my 65. The only thing to remember with LMC, as I have heard repeatedly in the forums. Do not buy their weatherstripping, as I have heard there are lots of fitment problems. Order yours at lmctruck.com or call them at 1-800-lmc-truck. They are located in Lenexa, Kansas. About 15-20 minutes from my house. Pretty handy for me huh?
