Nylon winch rope

I don't have a winch on my SD, so no synthetic (or wire). I do have a tow strap, but that's about it.
And I know this has nothing to do with much, but just for the record. AmSteel Blue is used by tugs (http://www.samsonrope.com/index.cfm?page=19&app=20) I learned this firsthand from a friend that worked on one of the tugs in San Diego at the NAASCO shipyard and I got to ride around with them for a day (which by the way was incredibly fun). It blew my mind that the same line they used was the same line on my winch, their's was just much, much, much thicker.
