immobilizer key
Hello , I just bought a 2001 f 150 . It came with only one key which has an immobilizer in it. Obviously a regular key won't work so I'm wondering where the best price to get a copy of this type of key would be.Thanks, Gary

E-Bay, look for a guy that has a picture of his work van and it says "A-Amazing lock and key. Type in "pats key" as keyword for the search. He has the best deals on Ford pats keys and you'll still need to go to ford to have it programmed because you don't have 2 of them already programmed for your vehicle. On the other hand if you just want one to get into the truck you can get one made at wal-mart to work your doors but it won't allow you to start your truck. I got one from there because I was afraid of locking my self out of my truck ...Again.
