I have had the juice and A2 for about a year, I bought the evelution to stack with it yesterday. My question is what would be the best level to run them at? I turned them both all the way up, but I am not sure if that would be the best power gain. I get plenty of black smoke, but it seems like I am getting less power. Also what can I do with my transmission, IT doesent no what to do, it shifts like crap, and feels like it is slipping. Its an 01 350 4x4 crew cab, with 161K. 4inch exhaust air raid intake. Thanks!!
ive heard talk of that stack combo, and i think they were liking the evo. turned down and the juice turned up half way for best mileage gain but i dont recall what the power levels were, but wasnt there 5 of them once its stacked. also, with both of them turned up, your HPOP may not be able to handle it which may be your power loss, any way, about the tranny, if its all stock internals, you may want to do a BTS valve body or a trans-go tugger HD2 reprograming kit, though im not too sure if the juice programs any of the tranny configurations, im sure there is more to learn on this subject.
Tow on the A2 and Race or extreme on the Evo.
For better shifts, I go with tow on both and drive around that way 95% of the time. If you feel as if you are losing power, you might want to change the defueling parameters. Seems like it is defueling prematurely.
That is the bad thing about Edge and flash tuners, they make the transmission shift like crap. Seriously i could not even feel or notice a gear change with them stacked. The only thing i liked about running the two together was that my Lie-o-meter read 36.4mpg. Made me feel good, but that was about it. My truck still "felt" stock back then.
