I've lived in the mountains (8,300') west of Boulder, CO, since March 1985. I've driven Ford Broncos (all with sticks) since 1984. At this point, there is almost nothing available new that is comparable. Anyway, I've decided to try to keep the old girl going (I've also got an 86 F260HD supercab, and my 71-year-old mother wouldn't dream of parting with her '79 F260), so I understand entropy <g>.
I've rebuilt the suspension, and I run 31x10.5x15 Pirelli Scorpions. We live on probably the steepest paved road in Boulder County (9.7% avg grade, with switchbacks), so I have not lifted the truck (Broncos are easy enough to roll, thank you). Anyway, are you aware of a supplier for 15" alloy wheels for the big Bronco? Every company I've looked at seems to have dropped the 15" size entirely. With the potholes we deal with, I don't want a tiny sidewall. I'm not racing on a skidpad <g>.
american racing has many in 15"..
ar 767, black steel

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 07-Jan-03 AT 02:07 AM (EST)]I am also interested in the Outlaw II. I have a set on my 68 F-250 and they look sharp. I would like a set for my 89 Bronco. I also run 31x10.50 tires. What size is the stock rim? is it 15x8?

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 07-Jan-03 AT 07:11 PM (EST)]I am running 15x10 Mickey Thompson Challengers with 33" BFG A/T's that I bought six months ago. M/T also makes 15x8 in the Challenger model and both the Classic and the Classic II are availiable from 15x8-15x12 I believe. Backspacing is 3.5" on the 15x10's so they stick out a bit further than the stock wheels with nearly 4.5" of backspacing. I am reasonably certain that the backspacing is the same for the 15x8's.
BTW mine is a 92 with 4" of lift and 33x12.5's. They just barely poke out from under the wheel wells in the front by maybe 1/4" to 1/2". The rears are still under but just barely. 15x8's should still leave tires under the fenders. I welcomed the additional width for stability. Any time you go up higher, making the footpirnt bigger is a benefit.
i have a 5 15X10 mickey thompsons that i am getting rid of. they have 35X12.5X15 goodyear A/T on them. please email if interested. i can send pictures.
