Well you know that caddy was only using 1 engine. If he woulda turned on his jet engine i think he might have beaten the Mighty 6.0 Powerjoke in a race. But, what he didnt realize is that i woulda just hit the rocket boosters and still beaten his booty. LOL
You won't hear me complaining when people spread rumors about them being junk. At this point it doesn't hurt FMC because the 6.0 is now gone, and the less people who want them makes the trucks and parts cheaper for me to hoarde them all.
i just see alot of injectors and turbos going out on the 6.0Ls and there are hardly any 7.3's going into the shop as 6.0L. i dunno maybe my luck is i just see all the problems and listen to the mechanics too much. i mean what would they know. they just repair the problems.
In my area its rare to see any vehicle getting towed into the Ford dealer that isn't under warranty so it wouldn't surpise me not to see many 7.3s in the service department compared to 6.0s. I doubt you will see many 302 gassers there either.
Junk 6.0 burped coolant once! I actually had to open the hood and tighten the degas bottle cap MYSELF!
05E16 reflash, mileage and performance stayed the same on the junk 6.0, chebs and Cummins.. er..Dodges, still get small rather quickly in the rear view mirror. Junk 6.0 makes great power I guess.
cd player failed... FAILED! Stupid junk 6.0 made it fail so Ford replaced it under warranty and it took almost 45 minutes!
Front brake rotor warped at 24K so Ford replaced both front rotors, machined the rear rotors and replaced all four sets of pads under warranty because the 6.0 is junk.
Guess I'm stuck with this junk for 250K and will just have to make the best of it. Luckily it pulls my 12.5K trailer over the Grapevine at 65 mph, piece of junk will actually accelerate up that grade. Junk indeed!
How does that all play out with the change to the 2007 emission standards? Have they already built all the 2007 diesel vans they are going to build? Or can they still build them as long as the engines were produced prior to Jan. 01-2007?

"ford has emission credits that will allow them to do this."
We on the east side of the state dont think much of the sissy people on the west, take what they say with a grain of salt.
Whoa there, don't group all us western washington people together with the king and pierce county people. Not all of us in western washington are from the seattle area. Some of us grew up on farms just like you probably did.
60,000 miles on my 04 6.0L, one sweet engine/truck so far, lotsa power,& very dependable. Understand some 6.0L Powerstroke, owners are not all to happy with their trucks and I respect that after all this is a site is actually here for people with problems and issues. I suspect Duramax and Cummins has a site comparable to this too, probably even has a few unhappy owners as well. Basically, my trucks history speaks for itself and it is far from being a lemon........
Yes, I am currently waiting for the flash the will keep the black paint from peeling off on my F250 emblems.
My 03, 5.4, F150, CC is having the same problem! I'm afraid the CC is junk!! LOL.
We have had our fair share of 6.0 problems out here in the desert, and actually know many that have been bought back, well so was my 91 Tbird back in 92! I also talked to a landscaper yesterday that has three 250's and three 350's, he's had some problems, but none claiming the sky was falling. Yes we have landscaping in the desert....
If he wants to think it is junk let him think so. It just sound like he is jealous that he can't have a 6.0L. I have a 2003 with 130,00 miles and it has been the the shop one time for the 06E17 flash and I love the truck. Let him stick with his 7.3L and think that he will never have any problems but eventually something will happen.
