keyless entry doesn't work

Just wondering how to service the keypad. I touch the keypad and get no response at all. no light or lcking or unlocking. thanks.

Corrosion on the contacts inside the keypad is a fairly common problem. Remove the door panel, disconnect and remove the key pad from the door. Separate the plastic housing on the keypad and clean the contacts (fine sandpaper or scotch brite pad works well). Reassemble and it should function normally. Some also put a silicone bead around the seam on the plastic housing to keep moisture from getting in. Took about 20 mins on my 01, went from not working at all to like new.
