Ya got ta get under there and shake the drive line with wheels blocked and out of gear to check u joint and pinion nut for being loose. Pry up on the bed and cab mounts and see if one is bad. Jack up the front end and shake and wiggle stuff around and see if ya got a bad CV. I can't see it from here. Check the fluid levels in the deff and tranfer etc while ya are under there. Do a compleat inspection and see what ya really bought. Get in there and get dirty or take it to a shop.
Yeh, I'm going to today. Very cold here. I was getting to comfortable for this, thats why I bought a newer vehicle. Just looking for easier ways, ie. advice. Turns out they shafted me on my Service Contract also. Lemon law, here I come.....(maybe)....
Pretty cold here also. But I am trying to get the water thawed so we can all take showers as we have a two hundred mile round trip to town tomorrow. Most of it on snow rutted slick logging roads. If ya can't do it in the wet and cold around here than It won't get done as we only have a couple of months of nice weather in July and August. But that makes it worth while I guess.
