float level adjustment advice sought.

I put a carb kit in my f100 with a 223 engine and autolite carb. The directions in the rebuild kit says to set float at 1 3/32 inches. But my shop manual says to set it at 1 1/64 inches +or- 1/64. which do you think I should use. I run my truck close to sea level with outside air temps between 30 and 80 degrees. Also my main jet is a number 67 which show for 0-5000 ft applications. thanks much

If you're comfortable with readjusting the float- use the book setting. Most rebuilds are set too high.
If you have any transitional problems (from idle to main system) raise the float 1/16 or so at a time.
