I'm looking at going with a holley 750 cfm vac sec. on my 75' 460. It has the c6. I'm looking at some slightly used carbs, will most of them have the ford a/t kickdown, can it be bought fairly cheap and put on, and is it a thing is should be interested in when purchasing.
thanks
Sone 750's have them, but most do not. I'm thinking the 3310 Holley may have the kickdown on it. You will also need the dual line kit to hook up the fuel line to the carb, an inline fuel filter and some rubber line.
The kit isn't real cheap because it involves changing the whole front throttle shaft. I am thinking maybe $60-$80 for the kit??
Do you really need the 750? Most 460's run fine with a 600. Many of those have the kickdown on them as well.
