I have an03 expy and was wondering if there is one of those cabin filters that need to be replaced periodicly i ask because i notice a different type of smell when the heat is on not antifreeze or anything just kinda funky smelling. If there is one how hard is it to replace yourself and where is it located. Thanks in advance.
I asked the same for my 03 Xp, I was told that the truck didnt have a cabin filter, also was told that the seats have filters if they heat/cold, I bet they are pretty expensive, so I didnt bother in looking for them I dont even use the heating and or cooling of the seats...
I have the 2001 and was told about cabin filters also. It seems we are told in the manual they are there, yet know one I know seems to have them. Mine has that same funky smell when first turned on. I am bumping this request up, maybe someone knows how we can get some and install them anyway.
Gee I wonder what those seat filters are designed to filter out. I use to think that my expy had a filter in the heating system too, but have never found it. So I figured it must be a EB thing that's part of the climate control system.
