Does anyone know of a way to run both the driving low and high beams at the same time. When I push the blinker handle it turns on the highs but also turns off the lows. When I pull the handle it turns them both on. Is there a way to make it stay and will it be ok for the wiring to pull that much amps for a long time. I am basically trying to get some brighter light for driving in the country.
Would HID's be the way to go and could I do the same thing with them for even more light. also do they make HID's for the fog lights in the bumper to match the truck lights on my 02 X limited.
HID's meaning the blue tint right? If thats what your thinking i have them in my fog lights. The companies name of the bulb is matrix ultra white and summit racing sells them. I bought the fog light casing seperatley off ebay and they are the same desgin as the ford ones. In the casing i use 9005's and they are 55w. I used the 100w ones three different times and they only lasted a week each. The 55w ones have lasted me 4 months and still working. Hope this helps.

Yes, there is a small kit for $13 you can buy to run both high, and low beams when you activate your high beam. >>> CLICK HERE <<<
HIDs are the way to go! But save yourself a bunch of time and don't buy the colored bulbs. They are actually dimmer than standard and offer nothing more than a colored hue to your headlight. Sylvania's Silver Star help a bit, but for $50 they are overpriced in my opinion. Spending $300 on HIDs for HIGH and LOW beam is the way to go. >>> CLICK HERE <<< Don't be fooled by other HID advertisements or false claims.
I own a pair from the above link... and LOVE them. Easy to install... and brighter than anything you can buy Halogen.
If you want to make your fog lights HID, you can do that too. However, then you'd have to treat them as off-road lights and shouldn't run them constantly with oncoming traffic. They'll be blinding. If you want to turn them on with high beams... here's your ticket >>> CLICK HERE <<<
To conclude;
.. I chose the whitest light, which is the 4300K
And your bulb is more than likely an H13, but please check to be sure.

Sadly the product offered for $12.99 is to run the fog lights and high beams at the same time, not the high/low beams at the same time.
The other link on how to cut and splice a ground wire into the harness behind the fuse panel does the same thing. I did it, it works perfectly without adding any switches etc. see:

You are 100% correcto'mundo.
I do what I do best... read too fast, and misunderstood as it says "all 4 headlights will be on". Fog lights to me aren't headlights... but...
I sent them an email asking about the high/lows being on simultaneously... as I've had friends do this in our younger years. We'll see what they come up with.

i dod the 06 front end swap and got the harness adapter for them. that leaves 1 of the factory connectors open. all i did was to install a diode from the low beam wire to the high beam wire on the unused plug. but, when you run them all on, they dont last. i ran them like that one night on a long dark road for about 25 minutes. then pop, one bulb exploded. well, that was the end of that mod. all i did now is put the 9005 in the fogs and jumped the fog light wire to headlight power at the switch. now fogs are on all the time the headlights are turned on. even with the highs on. i have a HID kit for the 9007 bulb from when i had the stock housings in. they are dual beam. and are for sale..
RACERX775, Why are you selling the 9007 HID kit. Does it not perform like you had hoped. I was thinking of investing in it, but had my doubts. Do you have a problem with the 9005 getting too hot for the fog light housing.
the 9005 is perfect and have not had any problems. asa far as the hid kit, i am selling it because i did the 06 conversion and the new lights are 9008/h13 bulbs. they were bright and had no problems. very bright and others think they are too bright.
