for the record id also take a 460 over either of em. i'd rather take the 35+ grand you'd spend on a brand new truck, and build something better.
for a little friendly rivalry i'd be glad to line my f100 up next to any v10 or deisel, of course once the blow inline 6 is out and the 460 is resting in its place.
i loved my 300 but it would never come close to out pulling a v10. it may have outlived a bunch of them, but never out pulled.

and I con honestly tell you that the 6.0 will out pull all of the others loaded or not......7.3 is second and then the v10. The 460 was great engine in its time.
If i had a superduty i would most certinly get a powerstroke, i love the powerstrokes man they have so much power, my friend has he left me at the starting line in my F150. I give it to those powerstrokes they are awesome engines.
