Let's just say that they do protect your doors from large rocks that like to hide . Anyway, its only a slight bend, about an 1 1/2" higher under the front door than the back door. I'm thinking heating the bend up and having a couple guys stand on it? They needed some new paint anyway
There is no real easy way to get that bend out of your nerf bar. Since the bar will take lots of force (or heat) to bend it back into shape, I'd remove it from the truck first.
Lay the bar down on something that will not burn and put a couple of supports about 6 inches on each side of the bend. Heat the bar up and then do whatever it takes (it will take a lot) to remove some of the bend. After the bar is straight enough, test fit it back on the truck. The mounts may not line up and some work will be needed to fix that.
