We had an E450 V10 w/ a TPS problem and it showed no symptoms at idle/light acceleration, but medium/hard acceleration brought about what felt like fuel starvation... the motor would begin to "flutter" above 2500 rpm and would surge until you were completely off the pedal. Sound about right?
P.S. after checking all connections and clearing the code, we haven't had a problem with the same unit for over 3,000 mi... weird.
