Favourite Modification

I just had a thought and was wondering what your favourite modification you have done to your truck?

Mine would be my chassis swap and making it a dually.

I like my truck to look original from the outside, with all the amenities on the inside. That just me though. This is why I am converting to a 12 volt system. Oh...maybe it was blowing the 6 volt battery up in my face...for real! Anyway, I want to listen to sirius radio, push button window, and 6 way power seats. That way on my trip down to nationals, I will be riding in a old,big cool looking truck with all the comforts or a new truck inside. Hopefully I will get it all done!

I must say the dual 3" stacks. They are pretty damn sweet looking and loud as all get out!!

In my case everything had to be modified. The only mechanical parts worth saving were the window winders and e brake handle.

You should have given us an "all of the above" answer - it is the finished truck most of us like.

It is hard to point out the best mod you have done! They all work together.

I had to vote engine/trans as I've always wanted to stuff the big 500 Caddy into something.

But I guess my really favorite modifications are the ones that work!!!

I like being on the dark side. Maybe cause I was always the black sheep of the family. GO FAST and GO FASTER RUSTY

Mine would have to be engine/transmission as well. Then again, I like the whole package. The dark side is best.

My favorite is suspension/brakes. I drove Willard for a number of years with stock on both. I am looking forward to handling and stopping.

To me the front/rear suspension and chassis mods should have been one category. Since they all work together I find it impossible to pick just one mod. I think the suspension is the most important on my truck since I wanted it to ride and handle like a modern truck and not like a buckboard...

The mod that improves the 'looks' of our old trucks the most, for me is, to lower them. The next thing is a slightly chopped top, which I didn't have the Cahuna's to do. LOL.......Even tho I'm a Ford man, that big Caddy in Bobby's truck is cool!

Thanks AX. Powers steering and brakes come with the suspension/brakes as far as I am concerned.
