Ford needs this for the V10!

GM pushes gasoline engines in medium-duty trucks: http://whygas.com

In addition to the gas vs diesel info, Ford could do a 6.8L vs 8.1L comparison!

Hmmmm, all valid point's that we make regularly when trying to defend our decision to NOT own a diesel.

I agree that Ford needs to steal a few marketing dept. employees from GM. And a real world 6.8 vs 8.1 comparison would be awesome.

FORD should really

be snuggling up to us and picking our brains to learn what they need to do to lure more goofy guys like us to their fold.

But, big business is run by MBA's who don't respect field experience enough. In addition, a majority of them probably have misguided political ambitions

. A waste for both concerns.

This is true.
However, the website isn't pushing light-duty trucks... it's about the medium-duty line.

Correct about the 8.1 being extinct. You can build one on there web site but you cann't order one. When ever the last one is sold off the dealers lot, that'll be it! A buddy just bought a new Dmax because he couldn't order an 8.1L, this was a few months ago already. This is all second hand information, so don't crusify me if its wrong, lol.
