need serious help

If anyone can help please do. I own an 87 ranger and of course it has problems. It ran when I brought it home but ran ruff. I gave it a new cap, rotor, plugs, wires, oil, antifreeze, silinoid, coil, fuel presure regulator, fuel filter, and a air filter. I have a spark plug diagram showing were they go and they are correct. Still it dont start. It will roll over but not enough to start. I checked for spark, have that. I dont have a clue to whats wrong and I dont know to much about it. I do know its a 2.9liter V6 5 speed. It has all new hoses and clamps but there is still no start. If anyone can help or knows anyone that can help PLEASE do, I would be greatful!!!! Did i forget something..

i hate to ask, but are the wires going the correct direction on the cap? ive seen people think the rotor turns the opposite way and the truck not even fire through the carb or pipes. is the truck trying to fire at all?
