It does make it a little easier. I saw it yesterday in SC for $2.219 but its still .40 more than 87 octane gasoline. Even though diesel is more expensive than gasoline, I'm still glad I drive a POWER STROKE!
So how long does anyone think that diesel will stay more expensive than gas? Just how long will they drag out the "refinery upgrade" excuses....
And don't you just love how once we're past the peak travel season that prices drop? GGGRRRRRRRRR...... sometimes I'd really like to do painful things to Oil Company exec's - like make them donate their entire bonus to a homeless shelter
I agree. Eastern Washington (Wenatchee) was $2.89 last night when I filled up and some stations are as high as $3.05. I would jump for joy just to see $2.50 a gallon again!!
It's been $3.00 for diesel and for B-5 bio for months. I was about 30 minutes south of Bellingham last week and the Skagit Casino has it for $2.69. Sure would be nice to get a little lower someday....

Right around the same time people realize there is no oil shortage, just OPEC cutting production to keep prices sky high.
In Oak Harbor is anywhere from 2.99 to 2.80. Skagit Casino has drop there price to 2.53. Burlington and Mt. Vernon area is down to 2.67. Wish we had the same prices that everybody else does, The Gov is just sucking us dry here in Washington state.
$2.29 a gallon here. It keeps falling. I heard the price of diesel fuel was high because of the war in iraq. Then in one of the diesel power i think it said that they use 1 million gallons of fuel per day there.
