'48-'50 Bed Question
Hey guys...on the 1/2 and 3/4 ton trucks...was there a short-bed and a long-bed?
also, I see them every now and then with the spare tire mounted on the side of the passenger side bed...was that factory?

1/2 the half ton trucks were shortbeds and the 3/4-1 ton trucks were longbeds.
Ford never offered a bedside spare tire mount for the 48-52 truck. Although 42-47 ones fit since they had the same bed sides.
