Starving on corners
Got the intake leak fixed and I've got the carb snugged down enough that it's not leaking anymore either, but I still have severe fuel starvation on corners - either right or left. AFR meter goes into the 20's and the engine almost stalls, as soon as I straighten out it goes away.
Carb is a Edelbrock 1406.

So I checked the PCV valve and it is working. I checked the float and it looked OK, but based on what I'm experiencing I may have to check it again.
I am still leaning out on corners, and...
I have a very steep driveway at our other ranch. On the way out (down) twice now it has made it down the hill (it's about 3/4 of a mile with the steep bit in the middle) and at the bottom it has died and won't start - and it won't start for 15 minutes - will barely even cough. It goes up just fine, it's only down.
I am so confused.

Starving while cornering was a symptom of old Carter Carbs.
Why don't you give Edelbrock a call, and talk with a tech? They are in Torrance, CA, and their number is 1-310-781-9077

Sound like a fuel problem.
How are the fuel filters?
How the fuel pressure?
How are the adjustment on carburator?
Edelbrock has the technical on your carburator.
