Quick Injector question

I know this might be a popular questions but i'm gonna ask it cause i plan on ordering these guys with in a day or two

Bean's: tranny savers or Stage 1s... which is the way to go? I have the exhuast air and an auto tranny gauges are on order as well... I'd like to roll black smoke as well as have more power than stock but not enough to kill my engine... I plan on get a Tony W. chip as well.

Otherwise is there a better option for me? What have u guys used?

Thanks and sorry for the stupid question

brian

All depends if ya wanna spend the $ to upgrade the tranny soon. With the tranny savers you'll have good power and maybe....maybe your tranny will hold the new power. Alot less likly that it will with stage I's. Either one I think you'll be happy! Seems after its all said and done though....ya always want more!!!! Go big!

I'm no auto tranny expert....but a good shift kit would be a must with even the tranny savers. And I assume you mean the HPOP.....It all depends. Some have no trouble.......but if your pump is weak(even though you don't notice it with the stock squirters) you may have trouble with the 160 cc injectors. Programing has some to do with this also.....so be sure to go to Wildman for your chip.

Why not go with stock AD injectors out of a 2000-2003 7.3. They are 140cc and would be a big jump from your 90cc injectors... Not to mention cheaper.

Split shot injectors require more high pressure oil, and would make getting a 17 deg pump from a newer powerstroke a must. And a good used set are still bringing about 500 bucks, so figure the two up and your about the same as stage I's.

But with a quieter motor... Or still another option... A DIY set of injectors... Many are doing it with good results.
