transfer case leak

I own a 2000 Lincoln Navigator and notice drip spot on the garage floor. The drip looks like it coming from what I believe is the transfer case (located in the middle of the truck). Anyhow looked under there and notice it was wet with trans fluild.. not bad but, noticable... i see a drip here and there if it sits overnight. Before taking it in to Lincoln, just wanted to know if anyone here has experience this before and have any comments. any comments would be appreciated.

Took my '03 Expy to the dealer for the same problem (at least it sounds the same). They found a breather hose that was cracked on the transfer case. All they needed to do was cut the hose back past the split and re-attach. Haven't had a drip sense.

Thanks for the advice Gibber ! I'll spray it clean and have a look underneath and see if I can find out the the breather hose possibly is cracked... crossing my fingers that this is all it is !! I'll keep you posted.
