'51 original dash gauges

I have original 6-volt gauges and am converting everything to 12-volt. Can I use these original gauges? If not; can they be converted to 12-volt?

I have a 51 also but I'm keeping it 6-volt. I know that you can get a voltage dropper that will mount to the firewall to run just the instrument cluster.

you need to get a Inst Cluster Regulator from a 57-64 ford truck. I went to a Ford dealership and ordered mine. It cost me about 35.00 with tax
The Ford part number is: B9MZ-10804-C. It goes in the power line going to the cluster to reduce the voltage to the gages. I have a 51 f1 and it works quite well.
