I am looking at getting a '59 F600 for use as a car hauler does anyone know of a source for specs? All I really know about it is 300ci 6 4 speed tranny and a 12/1/2' bed with lift gate. Thanks in advance.
I believe someone has changed your engine
or you are misidentifying it.Should be 223
if it's a six. All kinds of sizes if an eight.
Original engines mount on front below harmonic
balancer and two sides of Heavy bellhousing.
Far as I know 300 won't mount to original
b-housing, yet newer housing MAY fit your
4-spd. I have a shop manual for 59 (reprint)
that covers all size trucks. It cost about
60-70 dollars, well worth it. Check on-line
sources. I can e-mail some specs if not too
numerous. "G"
