anybody do or know of anyone using a cable operated hood latch like the AutoLoc like this latch

How about anyone using a Watson Streetworks cable Latch?

thanks.. I was hoping to replace the handle operated latch up front..

as my paint is bout to be done, I don't want to put on the old ugly latch..
so I either have to buy a new latch.. and have thrashed back and forth over cable latch or new polished..

I'm gonna have a lot of neat stuff under the hood, and liek the idea of security..

A friend of mine used the autoloc setup, It worked fine for a while but then stopped working and needed to be replaced. He ended up using a unit similar to Randy's but got it from a junk yard out of I don't recall what type of car. These hood latches only work for the reverse tilt hood. Never seen one on a original hood application.

 

right.. I am running reverse tilt hood, the CPP setup.
