wheel stud size

wheel stud size
I searched 25 pages of "What size tires can I fit on my...." so can anyone tell me are the studs 1/2" or 9/16"?( 1995 F250 4x4) I measured inside the lug nut and it looks to be 1/2" but the guy at Stockton Wheel said he thought they would be 9/16". I ordered my wheels today and need to know what size lugs. Hate to spend @ $50 on the wrong ones. Thanks in advance- Tim
