building an engine

ok guys i was given a free 351 (5.8) engine its in a 3/4 ton van so im going to need to pull it out in too weeks my question is im going to rebouild it and its
knocking real bad and it sounds like its comming from the low end of the engine.
now for my question what is the max i can bore out the crank and pistons?
i do know if its over 30 then ill get another block.
im going to put an rv cam in it with flat top pistons
now i dount want to spend over 1500. on this engine but what i want is this
more power and torque but i dount want a big gas gussler eather any ideas on low to rebuild this engine websites, or good cheap parts let me know

Well is sounds like you have a good project ahead of you might spend a little more on your re build it all depends on the internal. This is what I got 351 bore .20 over new piston, E-303 ford cam heads and gt-40 upper and lower intake with 30Lb injectors and sct tunning this truck moves.
