Gen 3 oil pump?

I was lookin at swamps site and it showed a gen 3 oil pump. Does anyone know anything about that pump at all? I was just snoopin around the internet and came across it and wondering how it compared to the duals.

I don't know much about it, other than a member from TDS (magnun97) had his entire engine compartment burn down when one of the high pressure hoses on the pump blew out of its fitting while he was towing his fifth wheel. While it wasn't a probelm with the pump itself, but was either a faulty or improper spec hose, bad crimp, etc... still turns me off from it.

Have you looked into the Terminator?

It's not the greatest design.
The problems I've personally seen with it are:
Blown hoses, Magnum 97's and another friend, the other guy had hot oil sprayed all over his newly-rebuilt $18,000 engine, that would **** me off.
Way too much ICP at idle, romps cracks pops etc, could be causing the hose fittings hell with burst as well.
Exploding gears. Same friend had the gear go out on the same engine.
Oh, and it rattles like the main bearings in a 302 with 500,000 miles.

In short, I am staying away.
If you want the best system on the market, look into the terminator, it has the most development, the highest level of proven performance, and is backed by a LIFETIME WARRANTY.
Hard to go wrong with a proven system and that kind of warranty.

Best system, most development, highest level of performance....I could say the same thing about the BTS pumps. And I don't see Brian not correcting any kind of problem with the pump, although I don't think I've every heard of a BTS twin pump system failing or needing service.

I'm not taking anything away from the Terminator, heck, I almost got one myself. Just saying there are other options out there, like BTS, Stealth, and if Bob gets his Pulse pump working.

I don't think he's given up on it at all. Just thoroughly testing it, because that's how he does things. The opening page (updates area) was the only place he's ever had info about it. When there is new information to update about, I'm sure he'll post it up.
