Problem with 05 sd
My buddy has an 05 F-250 xlt 5.4 with 15000 miles on it and yesterday he got in the truck started it up and the dash caught on fire. Ford doesn't know what the problem is yet and was wondering if anyone else has had a problem like this??

Was it completely stock? Or did it have aftermarket stereo, gps or anything else wired in that could have had faulty wiring. I've worked in claims for a few years now and everytime this happens I usually can trace it back to a bad stereo install.
