I have a 65 4x4 that i think has a demmer 375 steering box. I would like to find one to rebuild to save the down time of remove & rebuild. Anybody know what years these came in that would be a direct bolt up.
Its Gemmer with a "G", the 375 is correct. It was used on F100 4x4, F250 4x4 and F350s. I'm not sure of the exact years though. It was also used on F600 and other medium trucks as well. I'm not sure of a source to rebuild yours. Most common salvage source might be the F350.

Thanks Roger
The later boxes do fit. I have two boxes off of 70's vintage trucks and use them interchangably. I had the original 66 box rebuilt and used the other boxes while it was gone. I have been experimenting with a grease packed box to eliminate the leaking of a fluid filled box. No apparent problems for the two or three years it was in service. I have a 66 f100 4x4.
