If you can find a donor truck (76-79 F150) that has all the clutch linkages, clutch pedal assembly, speed odo meter cable, NP 425 trans (4-speed) . This will make the conversion quicker and less expensive.
Will need to bypass the neutral safety switch.
Carpet will need to be modified.
Transmission cover in cab will need to be modified or a used one will need to be found.
Any time a transmission is swapped from an automatic setup to a manual trans setup, the drive shafts will need to be modified.

what about the nv4500 it is the same length and will mate to a np205 ford so in my mind that means no driveline mod and bronco grave yard sells a kit to do the swap.
but with the auto e4od that sounds like a good idea my dad has an e4od in his 95 f-150 with a 351w in front of it what would be so hard about the swap. and what all is involved

clutch/transmission forum may have your answers. Try a search. Sorry, I haven't done it yet, personally, but it's in the short term future plans. But it's been talked about in the drivetrain forum. Good luck.
There has been some people putting the NV4500 trans and the ZF trans in there 73-79 4x4 trucks. I have seen some threads regarding this topic in this forum.
