125,000 on My 01 , V10 . I purchased it used @ 120,000 . Everything works ,hubs, locks, ect, ( knock on wood ). I drove it from Springfield MO. to Houston , towed boat & trailer to Salt Lake City . No problem other than the wandering ,keeps you alert .
I dropped the tranny pan ,the mag . had a healthy build up of fuzz , the fluid looked
fresh, probably just been power flushed ,so I believe it's original tranny . I buying a core 4r100 & rebld it with heavy duty parts . Then , when & if the original craps out , I'm ready .
Thanks for the feedback I guess time will tell. this is my 2nd x with v10 I love the sound and also how smooth it runs. I sure wish that it would go into overdrive before 45mph. I wander if a chip would change that?
149,000 on my 2000 Limited. Lots of power, very smooth and gets about 15-16 mpg hwy and 13-14 city. I didn't buy it new so I only know that it's blown a spark plug that was fixed with a TimeSert sleeve. Cool fix for $400 instead of replacing the head for $3,500. Great truck.
103,250 miles on my 2000 V10 4x4. Replaced all 4 rotors and calipers and ball joints. Just put third set of tires on. The front axle seals have just started to leak. Apparently that is not an easy fix. Word is you have to disassemble the differential to get to the seals. 13 mpg local driving, 15 highway.
We have 155,626 on our 2005. We bought it in October of 2005 and we have had no problems except for a leak on the front axle which was fixed by the dealer. Other than that just Royal Purple fluids all the way around.
132,000 on mine. Engine tight as a drum. I bought it with a 123,000 on it. I have it in the shop now. Seems the previous owner did not keep up with basic maintenance. Having to put front and rear rotors, steering stablizer, upper and lower ball joint on front left side, and a slide on rear left brake. Love the truck.

For our beloved Excursion, you are doing the basic maintenance. My guess is that the previous owner having done these repairs before sold it before doing it again.
121550 as of today 2000 V10. runs very strong, bought in 2002 with 21000 miles. no problems exept front rotors. Pulled 8000# travel trailer from Texas to Florida and back in December. Would buy another without giving it a doubt.
