C-4 OR C-6
The C4 has a 3 piece case assy. Tail housing , body, bell housing. Good tranny for the 302. The C6 has a 2 piece design. Body and bellhousing is one piece, and a tail housing. Also a good tranny.
Most 302's had either a C4 or the FMX trannies behind them. The 351W usually had the C6. If your doing a street rod, why not go with the C4? Not like you're going to pull anything heavy with the truck.
