Also, I've read somewhere that Ford changed the size of the wheel studs around 1999 or 2000 on the F150s, and will that make a difference if I want to buy these wheels for my truck?
Ford switched to 14mm studs on the 2000 model in November of 1999. If you get a 14mm wheel than it can be used on either 12mm or 14mm studs. If you have 14mm studs you can't use a 12mm wheel. A 14mm wheel will work with 12mm studs because the wheel is hubcentric. Which means the hub centers the wheel not the lug nuts. The lug nuts just hold the wheel to the hub. There will be some play around the lugs but it is ok. I have 14mm Lincoln Navigator wheels on my 99's 12mm studs. I just center the lugs before I torque them down.
So, you'll have to check if you have 12mm or 14mm studs. If your lug nuts take a 19mm socket then they are 12mm. If they take a 21mm socket then they are 14mm.
Also, the lug nuts are stamped on the washer part. If it says 100 lb ft then they are 12mm. 14mm lug nuts get tightened to a bit more than that.
