chirping sound
When I put my 81 F100 into drive, it just started making this chirping sound and I can't pinpoint where it is coming from. Anybody got any ideas, by the way for those who don't know it has a aod tranny and a 302 2bbl. Nothing else happens just the chirping, it's runs and drive fine.

Sounds like it could be a speedometer cable. It would only make the sound when moving and get faster as you go faster. Usually those are worse when cold and get better as it warms up. If you narrow it down to that you should be able to replace it for under $50
