Yup, most BII's of that age will have the FM146. The only bonus I can think of for 90 is that there's a good chance it has a D35 front. Even so it would have to be perfect for me to even get close to starting negotiations with a $2500 price tag and 155K miles.

I have a 87 b2 2.9 4x that i bought in november and has 87,000 original miles and i am the second owner. i have the 1st owners info in the glove box for when they bought it in 87. I think they were an older couple that used it to pull behind a motorhome. I say this because of the interior which is spotless.
anyway i paid 2800 for it.

the only thing so far is that i put xtx 235/75/15s and black 15 x 8 daytonas on it.
next a 2.5 suspension lift and d44s

I'm the third owner of my '87 and from what I was told, the first owner(s) did the same thing, rlg, and flat-towed it behind an RV. The only thing they -didn't- do was remove the rear driveshaft, so, actual mileage on the engine and not the rest of the powertrain / drivetrain aren't the same. I figure the engine itself may be getting close to 90-100K miles, but somehow, I think it's still between 80 and 90K. I only paid $1000 for mine, but I had to completely redo all of the brakes, including replacing rotors, drums, bearings, seals, pads, shoes, hardware, calipers, wheel cylinders, brake lines, etc., which was another $500 or so in parts. I sort of wish that the original owners had removed the driveline or kept a log of actual mileage on the entire truck, instead of letting it go the way they did, but OH well.
