Best buy has customer reviews on there stereo's. I think JVC has a good product, but I like anything with big buttons and big lettering.

Yup I bought my brother one a year ago and he put his in. Depending on the store they might even have a free install deal. Make sure you get the install kit.

I have an Alpine that has an auxiliary jack for my 40gb Nomad MP3 player. Sounds and looks great and with the Nomad I don't have to carry CDs.

I prefer Eclipse. I get great service from them. My next choices would be Alpine then Pioneer & Kenwood. I've won several sound quality contest with my Eclipse 55040.

I like anything with big buttons. You you got gloves on it is hard to push those littl buttons. Also when it is freezing out and I have been on the boat lobstering all day my fingertips are numb as hell. I had a marine radio in my K5 that was the best radio I ever had.

I picked up a JVC Arsenal deck for my Supra a couple months ago. It has one nice feature most (all?) decks don't and that was a USB port built into the unit so I can simply plug in a jump drive with mp3's. It's okay and all, but the buttons are tiny and the sound is so-so.

I however have an older Alpine CDA-7892 in my Ranger that wins hands down. The sound quality is nothing short of superb. The controls are easy and the settings are very intuitive.

In the future I'll only really be looking at an Alpine unit. The only reason I didn't go with one in the car is because of the USB feature and I didn't want the bulkiness of an Ipod (although the hookup is there on the deck). After a couple months with the JVC, I'm definitely going Alpine again.
