6 volt radio

Need a radio for my '52 F-1; it is a 6 volt system and I'm planning to keep it that way. The vehicle has never had a radio so I'd need the complete package - radio, speaker, and antenna.

I have a 51' that is almost restored, I've posted this request before, but to luck. Oh, mine has the spot for the radio. You will need to find a 51-52 that had a factory radio and take the middle piece because it has the place for the one speaker. I've yet to find anyone that makes reproduction radio in 6-volt.

Go to the eletric store and get a 1to2 converter

I don't understand your post, could you explain?

Are you suggesting to get a transformer to step up the voltage and runa 12 volt radio?

If you are looking for radio for your 1951 F1, when you can use one out of 49 & 50 model ford car. They are the same. pickup came with black **** and car came with chrome. If this will help ya'll out. later.
