anybody ever thought or have put any L.E.Ds on the grille guard of their truck maybe some amber ones. i have been thinking of stringing some along the top of my full replacement, right behind the bull bars. i THINK that it would look pretty cool.

Try it and take some pics, then post them here. This forum is the official judge of coolness.

I'm happy that someone else has thoughts of LEDs in their head. A couple of weeks ago I put the 60 inch Recon Line Of Fire on the rear of the truck and the 62 inch Big Rig Amber LED light kit under the crew cab doors. After taking some pictures, the 62 inch bar didn't seem to cover as much of my truck as I had wanted. I did some measuring and the 48 inch Recon Big Rig Amber LED light kit will fit nicely inline with the 62 incher.
Then I thought about the front of the truck, the 62 inch bar will fit nicely on the bottom skirt. So, when everything is said and done I will have a spare 62 inch LED light bar if your interested. PM me if your interested. The kits should be here Friday so I should have pics of the whole thing Friday or Saturday night. Which will include the Ryan mirror LED light mod and the flashing dually fender lights as well.

I'm waiting on a 5' glow strip/thin tube that is intened for behind the gauges (couldn't find a white face Indiglo without flames, blue numbers, etc...). Might have to give it a try behind my Stull grill before I try the gauge mod. Only reason I'm trying to glow the instrument panel is that I'm installing Autometer Lunar gauges and I'd like to match everything... If it comes tonight I'll take a pic and try to post it.

If my truck had that little air dam along the bottom front underneath the bumper (think this started in 01...), I'd probably put a few lights along there. Sorta like these guys: (first two pics belong to a guy named Jace, the third to DualStroked)

I've also seen lights put sorta next to the tow hooks: (this is bill4d's truck)

I've also seen larger led lights placed in between the bars in the grill (can't find a pic of this right now, though ).

Few more ideas for ya there.
